NEET Application Process – Correction Period

After the closure of the NEET application submission window, NTA opens a correction window for NEET , wherein candidates who have registered may make corrections in the application or amend errors, if any. The NEET correction application window will be availed by candidates for correcting all the errors or incorrect information given in the application form.

Please follow the guidelines provided below to make changes in the NEET application form:

  • Go to www.neet.nta.nic.in and sign in.
  • Sign in with your registration number and password provided to you at the time of NEET  registration.
  • Click on the link available for “Corrections in NEET application form”.
  • Do the necessary editing in the particulars thereafter click on ‘Confirm and Submit’.
  • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no. Enter the OTP.
  • Take a printout of the corrected NEET application form slip, which may be used later.

Please note that the correction in the application form regarding NEET UGcan be done only during the correction window. The correction window usually opens a few weeks prior to the NEET Exam. NEET  correction window for the change in the uploaded images was opened on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Follow the step by step process given below to make the changes in passport-sized photograph and signature in the online NEET application form.

  • Click on the ‘NEET Candidate Login’ tab.
  • Input application number and password generated at the time of NEET  registration.
  • On-screen notification regarding revise images within the form will be shown.
  • Upload the correct passport-sized photograph and signature.
  • After submitting such edits, OTPs or One-Time Passwords will be forwarded to your registered mobile.
  • Download the correction slip for further assistance.
