The NEET shall be conducted by the National Testing Agency, NTA. The allotment of cities for the conduction of the exam centre is expected to be announced. A total of 543 cities in India and abroad have been allotted to conduct the NEET.

The name of the NEET exam center allotted to each candidate shall be mentioned in the NEET hall ticket that shall be issued for the year . The NEET admit card  shall be issued in May and it shall be stated on that. No correspondence shall be made for any change in the exam canter allotted to the candidates after allotment.

The NEET exam centres will be allotted based on the preference marked in the NEET  online form by candidates. Last year, the total number of NEET centres was 3,855. Guidelines for Selecting NEET Exam Centres

1. Check the availability of exam centers at the NTA website. For NEET, the NTA will display the list of all the available Exam Centers. Please check the same on the NTA website.
2. Select the exam center of your choice. While choosing an exam center, the candidates have to keep in mind:

• Proximity: a perfect exam centre should be closer to your residence or place of stay. This shall guarantee you against congestions and other hitches in travel to the exams centre.
• Familiarity: You will feel so much better on the actual test day if you already know where the exam center is. You can also grab a study space near the exam center for some last-minute studying.
• Accessible: Choose an appropriate exam center that is comfortable for you. In case of any kind of disability issues, make sure it is accessible either by wheelchair or other means.

3.Choose your preferred exam centers. You can name a maximum of three preferred exam centers but in order of preference.

4.Submission of application form: Along with the submission of application form, candidates have to select the centre of their preference. The conducting body has taken all the efforts to allot the centre, which has been opted by the candidate. However, it is not guaranteed that NTA will be able to do so in all circumstances since the number of seats at some centres may be limited.

NTA will conduct the NEET test in Gulf countries. An aspirant can take the NEET test in Middle East countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar.

Steps on How To Change Neet Exam Centre

You will have to change the examination center of the NEET during the correction window. Correction window usually opens a few weeks prior to NEET examination. Once the correction window is closed, you will not be allowed to modify your examination center.

Step 1: Go to the NTA’s website.

Step 2: On the website, there will be a tab saying “NEET”.

Step 3: At the bottom, it says “Correction Window” click on that link.

Step 4: The application number and password should be entered.

Step 5: Click on the link where it is given to change the centre.

Step 6: After the list of exam centres will come, choose another exam centre.

Step 7: Submit it.

Your application form will be updated with the new exam center. You will receive an email confirmation with the details of your new exam center.

Guidelines for NEET Exam Centers

To ensure a smooth experience at the NEET Exam Center, candidates should be mindful of the following instructions:

• Reporting Time: The candidate should strictly adhere to the reporting time mentioned on the NEET admit card. For this regard, it must be noted that the entrance of the examination centre will be closed at 1:30 pm.
• Prohibited Items: The following materials are not allowed in the examination premises of NEET: geometry or pencil box, side ruler, log table, calculator, any type of paper material, electronic device, and baggage.
• Food Restrictions: Examination candidates are not allowed to bring any food item with them inside the examination center, but in case of diabetic students, fruits and sugar tablets may be allowed as and when required.
• Exit Procedure: Maintaining orderly conduct and avoiding crowding, the applicants who come to appear in the NEET exam have to leave the examination centre one by one after their exam. Thus patience in this process is highly essential.

Important Note: It is recommended that the applicants should arrive at the NEET examination center at least two hours in advance from the time of commencement of the test. Also, so as to avoid last-minute delay on the date of the test, candidates are advised to visit the NEET examination center one day prior to the scheduled date of the test. This will help reduce or eliminate much hassle on the test date in one way or another.
