Filling NEET Application Form : Step-by-Step Guide

The National Testing Agency, NTA has displayed the application form of the NEET UG examination, on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in and the last date for submission . Pay the application fee  of the same day itself. Candidates will have to fill up the NEET application form diligently to secure an admit card for the most coveted medical entrance exam. The exam date for NEET UG will update soon.

The application process will be completely online and is divided into three to four steps: NEET Registration, Filling the NEET UG Application Form, Document Upload, and Payment of Fees. Probably, the exam will be conducted in around 500 cities across India and abroad, with approximately 20 lakh candidates applying for the same.

How to Navigate the NEET Application Portal

The NEET application portal is a user-friendly platform that allow candidate to register, fill out the application form, upload document, pay the application fee, and submit the application.

  1. Candidate must visit the National Testing Agency website, https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
  2. In case the candidate is not registered, then one needs to create an account on the NTA portal by clicking the “New Registration” link and further filling up all the essential information like name, parent’s name, DOB, nationality, category, gender, etc.
  3. Clicking Submit: Submits your NEET registration and generates login credentials.
  4. Sign in using account details: Once you have registered yourself, click on the login option by providing your registered email address and your password.
  5. Fill the Application Form: After logging in, you would be taken to the application form of NEET. Ensure that you fill in all the respective information on the form carefully.

NTA will provide the facility of correction in the application form of NEET , whereby the candidates who registered themselves for the exam will be able to make corrections, if any. No correction charge is levied on the candidates in NEET  for the correction in their registration. However, a few fields like name, email id, and mobile number are not editable by the candidates.

  1. How to Reset/Retrieve NEET Login Password?

Candidates are strictly advised to retain their NEET  login credentials. In case those credentials are not retained, there are two ways to start the process of resetting or recovering the login password of NEET  – using a security question or through an OTP.
